CHEROKEE LAKE RECREATION AREA
This hidden gem is less than 1/4 mile from Graham Hill. Cherokee Lake is a quiet and beautiful little peace of heaven. It has plenty of parking, several picnic areas with a large pavilion, a bathroom, fishing piers, hiking trails, and a dam. You can bring your kayaks and go swimming. Easy access to Hiwasee Lake from the parking area, on the opposite side of the dam.
HARRAH'S CHEROKEE VALLEYRIVER CASINO & HOTEL
Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino is located in downtown Murphy, NC which is about 15 minutes from Graham Hill. Parking is free.
HIWASSEE DAM - TVA
This isn't your average dam! The Hiwasee Dam is an astonishing and awe inspiring place to visit. It is detailed with history and the views a spectacular. It has plenty of parking and picnicking areas above the dam as well as a lower parking area below the dam for views down the river. Truly a great place to visit.
FIELDS OF THE WOOD
Fields of the Wood is a must see! This Bible based theme park is about a 15 minute drive from Graham Hill. From the Ten Commandments to Prayer Mountain to All Nations Cross, Gods word unfolds throughout the hills. Be prepared for a peaceful hike and enjoy the scenery. It's truly breathtaking.
